1. iRobot s8

This smart robot mop and vacuum combo is a fantastic option for a wide range of households. 2. Eufy RoboVac Hybrid X8

While the Anker-owned Eufy has earned its name in low-cost robot vacuums it's not yet an all-in-one model that could also mop. This is changing with the X8 Hybrid, which has an impressive suite of advanced features and can compete well against more expensive models.

The main selling point of Eufy's the X8 is its laser navigation. The X8 utilizes the laser mapping system, which is more precise than previous Eufy devices. It also takes a lot less time to create a comprehensive picture of your space and stores multiple maps, which is ideal for multi-floor homes.

The X8 is still a decent vacuum for floors that are not clean, slinging debris under its side brushes and into the 400ml dust bin with relative ease. Its tyres are adept at securing edges and corners despite being circular. It's not a fantastic cat litter scooper, however as our tests show it can only remove about 90% of the fur from hard floors.

The mopping mode that is the basic one uses the same water reservoir as the vacuuming mode. While this is a good option for loose spills however, you aren't able to control how much water it uses, which will limit its effectiveness for more serious stains. You can also change the cleaning modes, initiate cleaning manually or see live feeds from the onboard cameras from the main screen.

The RX2 is equipped with excellent sensors that can detect furniture and other obstructions instantly. And its sweeping and suction power are top-of-the-line cleaning up surface debris from medium-pile carpeting and embedded dust on floors with no floor. But it's not the most efficient robot available. It's not the most efficient climber and has issues with metal threshold transition strips.

A lot of people purchase a robotic vacuum for the ease of setting up a schedule using an app and then forgetting about it for weeks at a time. 4. Shark ION

This budget robovac that is similar to other, but comes with some extra features and is more efficient. 5. Eufy 11S

Eufy 11S is a good option for those looking for a vacuum cleaner that is easy to use and doesn't have any frills at a reasonable price. It isn't equipped with some of the more advanced features, like digital mapping and Alexa integration, found in higher-end models, but if you're not looking for those functions you can save money by purchasing this model.

The robot is easy to set up and use. It doesn't require a smartphone app or Wi-Fi pairing, but it does have the ability to control the remote with a remote that allows you to select between various modes and adjust the suction level. It also lets you manually turn off the robovac during scheduled cleaning.

In our tests, the 11S was extremely effective in cleaning pet hair and dirt on hard floors and low-pile carpets.
